What are the school opening times?
8.45am to 3.20pm

Do you have mixed-age classes?
No, all of our classes contain children of the same age group.

Does the school provide any extra-curricular activities?
Yes! We currently provide the following opportunities:

Brass Band, Brass Tuition, Woodwind Tuition, Choir, Netball, Football, Hockey, Tag Rugby, Rounders and Cricket, Drama, Mad Science, Storytelling Club, Sports Skills and other sporting opportunities through external provision.

Will I/we be given the opportunity to be involved in my/our child’s learning?
Yes, through half-termly newsletters you will be kept informed of what your child is learning. You will be invited into school periodically to sample aspects of school life and attend Parents’ Evenings. Parents are also invited to attend our celebration Star Assemblies on most Fridays at 2.45pm.

What secondary schools do the school feed into?
The majority of our pupils go on to Broughton High School. Others gain places at Archbishop Temple School, Our Lady’s Catholic High School, Lancaster Grammar School and local private schools.

Do you provide before and after school care?
Yes. Discovery Vine Childcare Services run before and after school and they cover most of the school holidays. Check their website for further details, www.discoveryvine.co.uk.
